My memory is failing me a bit as to when this piece was actually done, but I believe that it was during my drawing II class in my second semester of college. As you can see from the photograph, the drawing has taken some punishment over the years. It is among a few surviving drawings from that period of my education. I think that it was originally part of a set of drawings where we were supposed to draw a figure from three different angles in one class period. I could have measured the proportions a bit more accurately, as the head seems a bit small relative to the rest of the torso, but the drawing does a decent job of showing the weight of the figure resting on the stool and walking stick.
